ACG Annual Fund

ACG Annual Fund

"The American College of Greece is only for privileged students."

The notion that The American College of Greece (ACG) caters exclusively to privileged students is far from reality. Thanks to people like you, more than half of the students enrolled at ACG receive financial support.
Meet the protagonists of the Annual Fund 2024. The financial assistance provided by generous donors to ACG has enabled them to now study at Pierce, Deree, and Alba, receiving a high-quality education that promises a brighter future.

The American College of Greece allocates over $8 million annually to allow talented students with financial difficulties to continue their studies. This significant investment opens the college’s doors to young people with exceptional potential and ensures that financial hardship does not stand in the way of making their dreams a reality.

To achieve this, The American College of Greece needs your support and relies on you. Your donation, regardless of its size, has the power to deeply impact the lives of young people. Together, let us overcome barriers and make education an achievable dream for all.

Your support becomes a legacy, empowering the lives and futures of countless young people.

Student testimonials:

Nancy Seidi, Pierce Student, Scholarship Recipient

“The truth is that I come from a family that has sacrificed everything for me to follow my dreams. Because as crazy as these dreams might have been, I was never told that they were impossible. So, when I told my parents that I was truly miserable in my last school and that I felt emotionally and mentally repressed, they did not hesitate to allow me to try out for a scholarship for Pierce Lyceum. It was my dream to be a student here… Turns out dreams do come true…

Needless to say, that when my parents received the long-awaited email of my acceptance, alongside with my scholarship qualification, I cried, a lot.”

Foivos Adarakis, Deree Student, Scholarship Recipient

“Only a few months before the panhellenic exams, I lost my father, which was a devastating blow to both me and my family, but I knew I had to keep going. The financial difficulties in my family endured after my father's passing led me to seek employment, so I went out into the world working at different jobs.

I believe The American College of Greece provides me with the perfect tools and guidance that I need to continue my journey, fulfill my dreams, and make a difference.”

Eleni Patsioti, ALBA, Seanergy Scholar

“Nearing to the end of my studies in ALBA I am thinking that this master’s degree was the best choice for a future career in Shipping and I am really grateful for being honored with a full scholarship and being supported by an important Shipping company in Greece. My goal is to continue trying and working hard, in order to be established in Shipping.”
