Pierce students Leontios Tzazopoulos (A Lyceum), Kriton Hephaistion Feloukatzis (B Lyceum), and Eleni Hadjioannou (A Lyceum) participated in the National Selection Debate Event and secured 1st place in the competition. Eleni Hadjioannou was named Best Speaker and, along with two other speakers, will represent Greece at the European Debate Competition in Brussels!
The competition focused on the theme "Debating Skills: Democracy and Citizenship in Europe" and was organized by the Augoulea Linardatou Educational Institution on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Its purpose was to select the top three speakers to represent Greece at the European Debate Event, hosted by the European Federation of Education (EFEE) in Belgium, from April 23 to 25, 2025.
